COVID 19

HOW WE ARE PROTECTING PATIENTS AND STAFF DURING THE COVID-19 PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY:
Updated 05/10/2023

In following the current Covid-19 guidelines set forth by the CDPH, the CDC and the County we are updating our protocols as seen below. Please note the following procedures which must be followed by anyone entering the clinic:

  • Stay at home if you or someone in your household is sick or has been exposed to COVID-19
  • Face masks are recommended.
  • We ask that everyone washes their hands or uses hand sanitizer.
  • Except for necessary treatment related interactions, all persons should maintain 6-feet of distance from one another at all times.

Please note that this is subject to change if the guidelines are changed by the CDPH, CDC or the County. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

TO OUR VALUED CIGNA/ASH & BLUE CROSS PATIENTS:

Due to the increase costs that it takes to keep our doors open and the low reimbursement rate caps that both of these insurance companies have placed on our services, we have made the difficult decision to terminate our participation in these health plan contracts which will mean that we will become an out-of-network provider for all of our ASH/CIGNA patients as of June 5, 2024 and for our Blue Cross patients as of August 2, 2024.

We would be happy to discuss the impact that these changes will have on your out of pocket costs for your care here at MORE Physical Therapy, Inc. and advise you to discuss how this might change your treatment with your specific physical therapist. In addition, we would encourage you to contact either Blue Cross or ASH directly or your Human Resources representative to discuss your concerns about their persistent refusal to negotiate reasonable reimbursement with physical therapy providers.
