Ying (Gary) Kang, PTA, MLS, CAFMT
Gary earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2010 from San Jose State University. He then graduated from Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts in 2015 after earning his Associates in Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Gary is a driven practitioner who was inspired to pursue a career in physical therapy out of love for martial arts and to help people positively change their lives through improved movement function. Gary is fluent in Mandarin and when he is not in the office, Gary enjoys spending time with friends and family at the Warrior's games, wine tasting, practicing Tai Chi and Chi Gong, traveling, and exploring new restaurants in the bay area.
Gary is currently the Assistant Manager at our San Jose/Silver Creek location. (MLS stands for Movement link Specialist and CAFMT stands for Certified Assistant in Functional Manual Therapist)
