Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic Therapy is offered at our Club One Almaden Valley facility (located behind Westfield Oakridge Mall in San Jose). The pool is used as a therapeutic medium that the physical therapist uses to provide safe rehabilitation for patients with a variety of conditions.

Benefits of Aquatic Physical Therapy:
Ability to exercise with decreased weight bearing and joint compression.
Decreased edema which promotes circulation.
Decreased muscle guarding and pain.
Strength work is possible for patients who are otherwise unable to do so as the viscosity of water offers resistance against the patients movements.
Appropriate for chronic pain, spine, post-surgery, fibromyalgia, arthritis and deconditioned individuals.
Morale builder.
