-
Do I need a physician’s referral to be treated at MORE Physical Therapy?
- In California, physical therapists may
treat patients who have been previously diagnosed.
However, many insurance plans require a physician's referral.
If your insurance carrier requires a referral, you still have the right
to choose your own physical therapist. Let your physician know your choice.
-
Will my insurance pay for physical therapy?
- We contract with insurance carriers that support our mission
to provide quality patient care while engaging in ethical and sustainable business
practices. In addition, we accept Workers Compensation, Medicare, and automobile
polices with Med-Pay coverage. To request a quotation of insurance benefits,
contact our Intake Coordinator, Christen Werle, at (408) 556-0110
or christen@morephysicaltherapy.com
-
I don’t have insurance coverage. What are my payment options?
- MORE supports both your health and financial needs.
We are happy to arrange payment plans for patients with limited or no insurance.
We accept checks, Visa, and MasterCard.
-
What are your office hours?
- Hours of operation vary from site to site.
See our Locations page for how to contact the location of your choice
and inquire about hours.
-
Do you accept “walk-ins”?
- Due to the nature of the care we provide, appointments are required.
However, we are typically able to accommodate same-day appointments for urgent injuries,
and all patients can typically be accommodated within 24 to 48 hours.
-
How many visits will I need?
- Many factors, including diagnosis, pre-existing conditions, and lifestyle, impact
the frequency and duration of therapy. We work closely with both the patient and referring
physician to return our patients to their desired level
of activity as quickly and safely as possible.
-
How long will my appointments last?
- Treatment sessions vary, but in general you can expect
to spend 60 to 90 minutes at each appointment.
-
What should I wear to my appointment?
-
Clothing appropriate for a gym setting is best; particularly clothing that allows easy access
to the body part we are treating (e.g. shorts for knee patients, tank top for shoulder patients).
For your convenience, all of our clinics provide locker room and shower facilities.
