Techniques we offer:
  • Swedish Massage highlights relaxation and stress reduction.
  • Therapeutic Bodywork utilizes Swedish massage techniques with deeper, more specific soft tissue work incorporating joint mobilization and facilitated stretching to promote postural changes and pain relief.
  • Sports Massage is traditionally used on athletes to promote optimal performance, a quicker recovery from athletic events, rehabilitation and/or maintenance.  Many different techniques are incorporated including compression, jostling, kneading, digital compression (for trigger point deactivation), broadening, lengthening, cross fiber friction, pin and stretch, and a variety of facilitated stretches.

Aimee Verapinto, CMTaimee

Aimee began working for MORE in February of 2006 as a Certified Massage Therapist at our Alameda clinic. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Political Science from the University of Oregon in 2000, she lived for a period of time in an indigenous village in the jungle of southern Mexico and lived and worked in South America. After returning to the states, Aimee became a certified massage therapist with a specialty in sports massage. Aimee enjoys assisting people with their rehabilitative goals and helping them prepare and recover from sporting events.
