Cher Kooiman, MPT
Cher grew up in the small central valley town of Ripon where she played high school volleyball, basketball, and softball. A sports-related stress fracture first introduced Cher to physical therapy and inspired her career path. Cher earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science from Dordt College in Iowa in 1994, followed by her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Chapman University in 1996. Cher practiced in California and Minnesota in outpatient orthopedic settings before she and her family relocated to Belgium with her husband's employer. After returning from Europe, Cher joined MORE in 2009 and works as a staff therapist at our San Jose/Rose Garden clinic. Cher enjoys running, reading a good book, and being a soccer-basketball-softball mom.
